6Sigma EPCM (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned ship repair and conversion company with a strong engineering design department at the entrance of the biggest dry dock in Cape Town (and the Southern Hemisphere). Established in 2012, it has its HQ next to the Sturrock Dry Dock in Cape Town, as well as 10,000+ m2 of flexible workshops. We manage a strong approval process with preferred subcontractors who conform to our ISO 9001/14001/45000 standards and are subject to continuous audits by our quality team. We provide turnkey EPC for ship repair, ship conversion, ship refit, new shipbuilding and steel fabrication and manufacturing in the medium and heavy steel sector. We accommodate incoming ships with dry-docking, Syncrolift and/or quayside ship repairs for planned or unplanned (emergency) work, as well as blasting and painting. 6Sigma also has an ever-expanding range of marine products supporting the oil and gas industry. Our team members make up the only ship repair company in South Africa (and neighbouring countries) with internationally qualified professional naval architects, cost engineers, project managers and other professionals, with the founding members as directors.
