Almas Marine Services was established in 2023 with the Ministry of Trade of Iraq and is headquartered in Basra City, Iraq. We specialize in marine surveys and quality and quantity inspection for general cargo and petroleum products. We have the “Permit to Operate” in the fields of marine services, marine & cargo surveys, loading and discharging operations, customs clearance, reefer and dry containers, and warehousing, granted/accredited by the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Oil, and the Ministry of Transportation & Iraqi Ports Authority. Almas Marine Services has a team of experienced marine surveyors offering a wide range of surveys for vessels and cargoes to a variety of parties and stakeholders within the commercial marine industry. Almas has extensive and specialist marine industry knowledge to deliver a tailored and effective service. Our survey reports are comprehensive and thorough to ensure that our customers have all the information needed to make reasoned decisions. Almas fully appreciates the importance of the role of a marine surveyor in identifying and mitigating risks.
