Blackrock Marine & Shipping Co.

We are one of the powerful Egyptian maritime groups situated in Egyptian ports, operating in shipping agency and marine services. We provide ship owners, managers and charterers with full agency services and husbandry matters. Agency services, Suez Canal transit: our special department calculates Suez Canal dues and tonnage based on the latest tariff issued by the Suez Canal Authority (2022) for all kinds of vessels and special types such as offshore units (tugs, rigs, AHTS, towed units, supply vessels, FPSOs, LNG carriers and barges). We apply for the SCA rebate system for your vessels, which grants a reasonable percentage of transit tolls as a rebate given by the SCA based on vessel condition and eligibility (automatic rebate, long-haul rebate, etc.), and we issue an explanatory PDA (proforma D/A) for all vessels transiting the Suez Canal, with real figures and no hidden expenses, showing the general amount to be paid for the transit. Shipping agency services: our boarding officers attend all vessels (passenger ships, bulk carriers, tankers, LPG, LNG, container ships, general cargo ships, tugs, supply vessels, barges, etc.) during Suez Canal transits, with all necessary arrangements for a smooth transit, assisting the master with all paperwork for all attending parties. We arrange crew changes, applying COVID-19 precautions with PPE throughout the operation, including meet and assist, hotel bookings, shore passes, travel arrangements, PCR tests for off-signers and handing over PPE to on/off-signing crew.
