BCN Ships Assistance (BSA) is a ship repair company that is the result of a persistent desire of a selected group of executives and highly qualified workforce of the former shipyard Union Naval Barcelona S.A. (UNB) to keep on servicing the ships calling at Barcelona and its surrounding areas, transmitting the know-how and experience in ship repair and related issues. Whatever the challenges may be, our aim is to provide our customers with an excellent service at highly competitive rates, with the highest quality standards in safety conditions, assuring the support required to minimize vessels’ off-hire. We are willing and ready to attend to our customers’ needs, not only in Barcelona but also on the rest of the Spanish coasts and in harbors of the northern countries of Africa like Tanger Med. We also supply personnel for off port limits (riding squad service). Our availability is around the clock, seven days a week. We provide a full range of ship repair services, from mechanical breakdowns, overhauling, electrical maintenance and repairs, plate renewal and piping to coating.
