Our offshore capability is centred around the Airbus AS365 Dauphin, a proven twin-engine platform widely recognised for its reliability, performance, and safety in demanding maritime environments. The AS365 is ideally suited for offshore transport, vessel support, medical evacuation, and time-critical missions, offering excellent range, payload, and all-weather capability. The aircraft is set up specifically for all capabilities, whether land on ship or hoist access is required. For medical and emergency missions, Cape Town Helicopters operates in partnership with GMSRS, deploying highly trained medical crews experienced in offshore, shipborne, and remote-area operations. This integrated aviation–medical capability enables rapid response, advanced in-flight care, and seamless coordination from vessel or offshore installation to definitive medical facilities. Our offshore operations are conducted by experienced crews with extensive local and offshore flight time, supported by rigorous maintenance standards and established operational procedures. This ensures a safe, reliable, and professional service for clients operating in complex marine environments. We also provide offshore surveyor transport, offshore OPL services from shore to ship and vice versa, offshore salvage for ship and container spills, and offshore search and rescue operations.
