Marinelinks Shipping Agencies came into being in 1999 as a sister concern of the renowned shipping and logistics firm Cargolinks, which has the distinction of serving the Indian EXIM trade right from its inception in 1987 at the port of New Mangalore and subsequently at Karwar & Mormugao (Goa) on the west coast and Chennai on the east coast of India, as licensed customs house agents/stevedores and owners of an extensive transport fleet and handling equipment, providing Indian exporters and importers a single window service for cargo clearance and handling. Over the years, having earned an enviable reputation in shipping circles, the constant urge to foray into other specialized aspects of shipping led to the formation of a separate sister concern as an exclusive steamer agency firm under the full style of Marinelinks Shipping Agencies, which as of date nears two decades of service to a large global clientele of reputed shipowners & charterers, by and large of dry bulk (liner & tramp) vessels, tankers & container liners as well.
