CDM Yacht Consulting Ltd

Yacht surveyor specialising in pre-purchase surveys and commercial coding of vessels under 24 m, and client representation for new build and refit project management. I carry out surveys across the UK and Europe, and I also represent clients in the superyacht industry. I adopt a cohesive, friendly rapport with build yards to get the best results for my clients, ensuring yachts are built on time and to budget while managing client changes, and ensuring client satisfaction by personally carrying out snagging, handling acceptance and agreeing warranty issues. I work closely with my clients to achieve the best end result for their project, whether it is a new build or a refit. I also carry out services covering registration and flag arrangements. I work with classification societies and attend all class surveyor visits to agree any changes required and relay them to the build yard. I assist in the appointment of the captain and crew and work closely with the crew to ensure they meet the client’s expectations and requirements.
