Our company specialises in the production of surface preparation material widely known as blast cleaning abrasive grit. The production facilities are in Larymna, Greece, 120 km northeast of Athens, with a maximum annual capacity of 300,000 t. The raw material is a pyrometallurgical non-metallic slag produced by a local laterite processing plant during the melting of laterite ore in electric furnaces, and granulated at the water quenching stage by the same plant. The granulated raw material, consisting mostly of iron silicates, is transported to and further processed at the company's own facilities. The final product can be used for blast cleaning in industries including shipbuilding, new construction, repair and maintenance, oil refineries, tank farms and terminals, offshore drilling and production platforms, module construction, and chemical and other process industries.
