DCT Shipping started operating in April 2007 on the island of Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. The booming of tourism in the Caribbean region and the corresponding flourishing of the construction business was triggering an increasing demand for building materials around the region. The existing shortages of construction materials in the Caribbean area formed a great opportunity for the startup of a company in the shipping of building materials. Our mission: to offer towing services over sea as a safe, economical and efficient alternative to conventional shipping methods for the transportation of building materials and special projects in the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the South American region. Our vision: to become the most efficient and profitable solution for special maritime services in the region, improving the time to solve each project as a strategic partner.
