Easytax Yachting

Easytax is the preferred fiscal representative for vessel-owning companies with charters departing from France, Monaco and other EU member states. Easytax offers a wide range of services to these companies: VAT registration, direct representation to the tax administration, collecting VAT-required charter documents, submitting VAT returns, mandatory accounting and VAT payments, and compliance and assistance with VAT legislation. A subsidiary of an international freight forwarding group founded in 1950, Easytax was established in 2000 to meet the increasing requirements in terms of VAT obligations related to cross-border activities. As of 15 July 2013, VAT is due on all charters used for leisure purposes and departing from France and Monaco. Therefore, it is compulsory for yacht-owning companies to appoint a tax representative in the charter's country of departure.
