Empresa Portuaria Arica

Under Law No. 19,542 on the Modernization of the State Port Sector, the new autonomous Empresa Portuaria Arica (EPA) began operations on April 30, 1998. The Port of Arica is one of the main port terminals in northern Chile, serving as a transit point for goods to and from Bolivia, among other important points of the macro Andean region.
