Ship management and shipping-related activities are the prime business of Glory Shipmanagement. We are at present involved in vessel management, manning, chartering, operating, barging and transporting project cargoes. We provide the necessary personnel for manning ships and also undertake technical services as required to keep the ships in good condition as required under the maritime law of the country. In short, the services include keeping ships seaworthy, manned with competent officers and crew, and with valid ship’s certificates from the concerned authority. Proper inspection and technical maintenance of the ships, carried out by competent shore engineers, ensures safe and smooth operation of the vessel. On the manning side, we provide the necessary personnel (as per the flag state’s Safe Manning Document) at various levels after verifying all documents, a proper interview and medical fitness, and by familiarizing them with our company policy, the ISM Code, the type of operation of the vessel, etc. During the officers’ and crew’s stay on board, we monitor them continuously through appraisal and familiarization reports and provide the necessary shipboard training and drills in order to maintain and operate the vessel efficiently.
