Founded in 1977, GM International Services Limited is the largest and longest-established ship registration service company in Malta. Apart from ship and yacht registration, the company also offers agency, husbandry, bunkering, chandling, passenger services, transhipments, secretarial, accountancy and legal services. GM International Services Ltd's first two companies were registered on 13 May 1977. Furthermore, up to 1987, GM International Services Ltd commanded almost 95% of Malta's tonnage. Throughout the years, its list of international clients and associates has grown rapidly, and so far it has attracted well over 50 million tons and over 1,800 shipping companies to the Malta flag.
