GMG has positioned itself in the Malaysian automotive industry; we are the pioneer in Malaysian automotive logistics. Giga Shipping Sdn. Bhd. began operations in 2001, although its managerial team, the pioneers of the group, have been in the industry since the 1980s; Giga would in most instances be the first point of contact for customers. Nexus Mega Carriers Sdn. Bhd. was officiated in 2008 with the goal of being the preferred forwarding and land transport company in the Malaysian autologistics industry, providing a "One-Stop Logistics Service" for the automotive industry. Its transport wing, with more than 20 years of experience, owns the largest fleet of car and motorcycle carriers in Peninsular Malaysia and is growing in Eastern Malaysia, using articulated, rigid and single car carriers. Giga Car Terminal Sdn. Bhd. (GCT) was founded in 2008, offering covered and uncovered storage yards, Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) facilities, car washing & detailing, and supervision of cargo handling of special vehicles. GCT operates four car terminal yards within Westport with a total area of 44.5 acres and a storage capacity of 9,000 car units, using barcoding, WiFi and web data systems with tracking for every vehicle. Straits Auto Logistics Sdn. Bhd. (SAL) was incorporated in 2002 and has since owned and operated a total of six RoRo vessels; its latest purchase in 2013, MV Straits Challenger, has a capacity of 5,340 vehicles. Born out of a joint venture, SAL offers high quality, economical RoRo transportation.
