Global was founded in Cyprus in 2005 to provide engineering support and consultancy services to organizations in the oil and gas and energy sector in the Eastern Mediterranean. Global can provide design engineering and project management services, including pipeline, piping, equipment and plant layout design, rapid prototyping, 3D modelling, spare parts replacement, dunnage design, yard layout design, transport movement studies, sea-fastening calculations, design and installation, and rigging, lifting and transportation studies. A 15 hectare bonded yard area is available. Other services include a range of operation based contracts and equipment for rental, including jet washing, tank cleaning, metal banding and strapping, gauss testing, hot knife cutting, pipe cap removal, water treatment, PPE supply, and rental of a range of small tools, pumps, walkie talkies and other equipment at quayside. Global can also provide import/export freight forwarding, sea freight and shipping documentation, vessel management, domestic customs clearance, inland trucking services, port terminal and yard discharging and storage, marine operations stevedoring, cargo chartering, maritime surveying of vessels and cargo, dangerous goods handling, airfreight, crew change, manning and repatriation services, reefer cargo freight services, insurance brokerage, door to door, lashing, stuffing, de-stuffing and packing, strategic shipping and logistics, supply chain operations, project cargo and special cargo shipping services, warehousing and inventory management, provisions (food) and water supply, import/export trading, ship repairs and modifications, ship chandlers, break bulk and general cargo shipping, bunkering and lube oil, dunnage and sludge removal services, and garbage, scrap and waste removal, among others.
