Established in March 2012, Great Ocean serves the most diverse fields of the local and international shipping industry. Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, it opened an operational branch office in Fortaleza/Pecém, Ceará at the end of 2015 to cater for the needs of our customers in Brazil's North East and Northern regions. Great Ocean has commercial representatives in Houston, Florianópolis and Pecém and works with carefully selected international correspondents worldwide. Our mission is to place the highest quality services within our reach at the disposal of our customers. Our services include ship and cargo brokerage (dry bulk, tankers, break bulk, general cargo); heavy lift, project and semi-submersible transportation; logistics solutions; voyage estimates, laytime calculations, charter party consultancy and related services; full, protecting and husbanding agency; stevedoring, port operations and port captain services; Brazilian flag and crewing services; towage; and D/A desk.
