HORA Elektronik d.o.o. is a company based in Rijeka, Croatia, registered for representation of foreign companies, export-import, engineering, consulting, sales and service in the field of marine electronics. It was founded in 1990. HORA Elektronik d.o.o. is the distributor and authorized service agent of the world-renowned producer of navigation and radio-communication equipment Furuno Electric Co. Ltd. from Japan for the territory of Croatia and Slovenia. Our service staff have extensive experience in installation and service of Furuno navigational and radio-communication equipment on all types of vessels, from small recreational boats, fishing vessels and yachts to deep-sea vessels. HORA Elektronik can provide technical support or arrange installation, service and repair through its own capacities or a service dealer network in Croatia, and also worldwide wherever an authorized Furuno service agent is available. Our company also handles sales and service of products from Jotron AS (radio-communication and safety equipment: EPIRB, SART, VHF, AIS), McMurdo Ltd. for the Kannad Marine brand (EPIRB, SART), Entel (UHF/VHF radio-telephones), TimeZero - MaxSea (navigational software and electronic charts), WASSP (multi-beam sonars), Böning (alarm, monitoring and control systems) and Airmar (transducers). We focus on annual surveys of radio-communication equipment according to SOLAS regulations (GMDSS) and Furuno VDR/S-VDR systems.
