In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number KP 775 of 2018 and attestation from the Batam Free Trade Port Authority, PT. INDOPROF is granted permission to develop an area for anchoring activities for crude oil, fuel blending, floating storage & ship-to-ship transfer activities in the territorial waters of Batu Ampar. Our location is strategically placed near the Malacca Straits, just 12 nautical miles from the SE of Singapore. The advantages of our anchorage are: a strategic location just 12 miles from the SE of Singapore; deep sea with drafts ranging from 26 to 57 metres; no restrictions on liquid cargo to be stored and transferred; Batam Port is Indonesia's strategic free trade zone, with exemption from import/export tax, value added tax and sales tax on luxury goods, and liquid cargo transferred is considered 'in transit' with no tax applicable; proximity to the jetty makes it easier for the crew/owner to access the city centre; guaranteed safety, ensuring operations won't be disturbed by irresponsible parties; competitive port tariffs; competitive labour costs & store requisitions; one-stop services providing shipping agency, pilot booking, tug assistance, STS equipment, mooring master/POAC and customs & port clearance; and expertise in providing certificate of origin forms for origin document change to Indonesia.
