Jachthaven Waterland

Jachthaven Waterland is a marina located only 10 km north of Amsterdam in the historic town of Monnickendam. Monnickendam is on the shore of the Gouwzee, part of the IJsselmeer. This bay gives good shelter from the prevailing southwesterly breeze. Within 2 nautical miles you can find Volendam or Marken. Due to this central location on the windward side of the IJsselmeer, you can sail here in all circumstances. Hoorn and Enkhuizen are only a few hours' sailing away, and anchoring in the Gouwzee is also a perfect option in nice weather. We are a full-service harbour with a sailmaker, yacht service, engine service, crane (18 t) and restaurant. 2022 was the 18th year we have been awarded the Blue Flag, and we receive the green pennant for our efforts on sustainability and the environment.
