Kimek AS has a strategic location in Kirkenes on the doorstep to the Arctic. Long experience with ships of all sizes and types, from big tankers and dredgers to small fishing boats. We can deliver installations and ship repairs including welding, mechanical, electric and electronics. We mainly perform rebuilding and installation of equipment; all kinds of repair, both mechanical and electrical; water jetting, sandblasting and painting; marine electronics; and navigation systems. Our facilities include heavy lift for ship and module (117x24 m, 5000 tonnes), a heated ship hall (80x40 m, 33.6 m high), cranes (2x50 tonnes), quay structures of 280 m length, a modern quay with water depth of 5.5-8 m, a prefabrication welding shop, an electromechanical workshop, a motors and machining workshop, and barracks for own and hired personnel.
