KTL Marine Services LLC is renowned for its expertise in mooring rope services, repair and testing. We are the only Technical Member of the Cordage Institute, USA, in the Middle East region. Our team includes engineers and splicers with inspection, repair and training certificates from major HMPE rope manufacturers globally. Currently, we have six personnel with seaman's books available to travel for project completions. We offer a comprehensive range of services to clients across the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia: onboard recertification of lifting and mooring equipment in accordance with BS EN, ASME, API and other international standards (our inspectors hold a minimum of 3 LEEA diploma qualifications); inspection, repair and maintenance of heavy lift steel slings (multi-part braided slings, grommet slings, cable-laid slings); wire rope socketing and destruction testing of ropes with capacities up to 600 t; crane wire rope reeving using spoolers for cranes up to 500 t; load testing of slings, chains, HMPE ropes and specialized fabricated items up to 1,000 t, with 200 t and 1,000 t horizontal test benches; crane load testing using water bags and barges; NDT (EMAG) of steel wire ropes using our LMA-300 from NDT Technologies, USA (rope diameter up to 83 mm); offshore services including spooling equipment rental, winch rope installation and crane wire rope reeving; and inspection, maintenance, repair and destruction testing of synthetic (HMPE) ropes from various manufacturers.
