Prestige does not come alone; it is the result of years of experience and continuous work. This work goes back to 1928, when a visionary man, Don Angelo Cetto, with great conviction and strength, planted the noble European wine tradition in the fertile lands of Baja California, using the skills and knowledge he had acquired in his native Trentino, Italy. In 1951, a second generation followed in the footsteps of the founder of our company: Don Luis Agustín Cetto, true to the tradition developed by his father, strengthened the company’s brand in the privileged Valle de Guadalupe. In 1965 the valley welcomed the engineer Camilo Magoni from Morbegno, Italy, a talented oenologist who quickly reached maturity and success in winemaking. The characteristic quality of many years brought its greatest success in 1983, when the first line of L.A. Cetto varietals was launched and soon sought after by the most discerning palates. After years of dedication and dreams fulfilled, the third generation joined this family task: Luis Alberto Cetto, who was entrusted with reinforcing the company’s growth and strengthening the group’s history, also contributing to opening international markets for Mexican wines and expanding the circle of consumers in our country.
