Landmark Marine (LMEC) was inaugurated on 1 September 2011 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, as ship managers. LMEC is comprised of highly qualified and experienced master mariners, marine engineers, naval architect engineers and oil and gas engineers committed to providing the local and international markets with the highest standards without compromising our greatest concern for the preservation of human life at sea and the protection of the marine environment. LMEC’s vision is to become the best maritime survey, consultancy and marine services company in the international maritime community by offering a reliable, flexible and cost-effective service. On 1 March 2012 the company obtained its Document of Compliance (DOC) and started operating various types of marine units. On 1 May 2012 the company was appointed by several flag states and classification societies. On 10 June 2013 Landmark signed an agreement to represent GL Future Ship (DNV GL Future Shipping).
