Marina Pura Vida S.A. is an established 24/7 port agent, ship agent, maritime agent and yacht agent in Golfito, Costa Rica, since 2003, serving every Costa Rican commercial port and official marina: Golfito, Caldera, Moín/Limón and Punta Morales. Superyacht and yacht services: yacht clearance in/out at all official Costa Rican marinas (Marina Bahía Golfito, Banana Bay, Pez Vela Quepos, Los Sueños Herradura, Papagayo, Flamingo), yacht entry to Costa Rica, customs agent (TICA, DUA, DUCAS), stay and cruising permits (180 days, 1 year or 2 years under marina contract), SINAC cruising permits, MDO bunkering with official BDN under MARPOL Annex VI, provisioning, crew changes, temporary import of spare parts, life raft service, kosher provisioning and VIP transport. 38 yachts and superyachts were handled in 2025, 30 in 2024 and 22 year-to-date as of May 2026. Tanker agency: leading palm oil tanker agent at Port Golfito with a 4-year track record (CPO, PKO, RBD, with FOSFA-certified inspector coordination via GEINSP; 25 palm tankers handled in 2025, 18 in 2024, over 250,000 tons of CPO exported), and hydrocarbon tanker agent at the RECOPE Moín terminal (berths 5-0 and 5-1: diesel, fuel oil, jet, LPG and asphalt, with real-time Caribbean swell monitoring; 13 tankers handled in 2025). Ro-Ro and general cargo: vehicle carrier agent at Puerto Caldera, the only operational Ro-Ro terminal on the Costa Rican Pacific. Credentials: DHL Express Authorized Service Agent in Golfito, part of the JAPDEVA Moín dredging consortium in 2023 (US$1.34M public tender, with Dutch Dredging), and featured in Semanario Universidad press coverage.
