MEC Shipyards

MEC Shipyards is a profit company incorporated in Panama since 1999. Today our operations in Balboa Shipyards include three graving docks for vessels up to Panamax size, with over 12,000 sqm of fully equipped workshops, as well as one slipway with up to seven positions for small draft vessels located at Veracruz. MEC's main area of expertise is ship repair services. During our more than 15 years of experience, the company has performed very demanding works, including afloat ship repairs, permanent dry ship repairs, temporary underwater repairs, permanent underwater repairs, ship bow thruster repairs, crane repairs, mechanical ship repairs and dry-docking repairs.
