Miami Marine

Miami Marine LLC is a specialized commercial diving contractor providing underwater ship husbandry, hull maintenance and running gear servicing across South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Operating with commercial-grade diving systems, Miami Marine delivers technical sub-surface solutions engineered to optimize vessel hydrodynamics, reduce fuel consumption and safeguard propulsion efficiency for private yachts, charter fleets and commercial vessels. Core services and capabilities include: underwater hull cleaning and biofouling removal (mechanical removal of hard calcareous growth, tubeworms and macro-algae using non-destructive techniques calibrated to preserve existing antifouling paint coats and barrier layers); propeller and running gear conditioning (high-speed underwater multi-stage propeller polishing to Rupert scale finish, clearing running gear, struts, rudders, shafts and trim tabs to eliminate cavitation and hydrodynamic drag); sea chest and sea strainer intake service (clearing of thru-hulls, grates and sea chest intakes to restore raw-water flow to cooling circuits, chillers and generators); sacrificial anode replacement (inspection, servicing and underwater replacement of hull, shaft, transom and thruster zinc/aluminum anodes to maintain cathodic protection against galvanic corrosion); and sub-surface condition inspections and damage assessment (in-water hull surveys, pre-purchase assessments, running gear inspections and photographic documentation for vessel managers, captains and marine surveyors).
