Modern and sustainable dry dock. MOEN carries out assignments faster, with better quality and even stronger environmental control in our new, modern insulated dry dock in Purkholmen industrial park, in the middle of the shipping lane in Nærøysundet. Here we have full control of the indoor climate, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Features include a 100 x 25 metre covered and insulated dock, an entrance height of 30.8 m at mean water level, no tonnage restrictions, 100 tonnes lifting capacity on the overhead crane in the hall, 8 metres depth, a 245-metre quay, fast and efficient docking and undocking, new and efficient water blasting equipment, and a sustainable and environmentally friendly operation. MOEN has long experience with surface treatment such as sandblasting, metallizing and painting on vessels up to 100 metres. At our facility in Ottersøy, environmentally and climate-safe disinfection of vessels and equipment is also carried out. All our shipyard services are documented and certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, ensuring high service quality and minimal environmental impact. Our services are delivered by a staff of skilled workers with more than 300 certificates and trade certificates, and by approved partners: industrial mechanics, welders, sheet metal workers, surface treatment specialists, engine mechanics, hydraulics technicians, industrial pipefitters, project engineers, ship engineers, ship electricians and navigation equipment specialists.
