Non-Profit Entity supporting Jr. Sailing Programs Regionally

Each year the Foundation Board of Directors, upon recommendation of the Grant Submissions Officer, decides which grant requests to fund, based on the Foundation’s mission statement and its available grant funding. The Foundation awards financial grants in the following areas: amateur sailing programs (e.g. junior sailing programs, high school and college sailing programs) sponsored by members of the yachting and sailing communities within and outside Southern California that need funds for program staffing and leadership training, equipment (e.g. boats, trailers), program facilities (e.g. docks, meeting space) and on-the-water regatta equipment (e.g. buoys, flags, starter equipment); and individual sailors within and outside Southern California, to allow these talented youth to compete in amateur sailing events on a regional and national basis.
