Ocean Shipping is a marine service provider in Mauritanian ports, offering port services across all Mauritanian ports. Our port agency services include berthing and docking assistance (arranging for a ship to dock at the port and coordinating with port authorities), pilotage services (providing experienced pilots to safely guide the vessel into or out of the port), port clearance (handling all paperwork and formalities required by local authorities for a ship to enter or leave the port), stevedoring services (managing the loading and unloading of cargo) and tug assistance (coordinating tugboats to help maneuver the vessel). We also offer protecting agency services, safeguarding the interests of vessel owners and operators; customs clearance, facilitating customs procedures for both import and export goods in compliance with local and international regulations; ship husbandry services, organizing emergency repairs or routine maintenance while the ship is docked, and handling the disposal of waste materials, sewage, and garbage in accordance with environmental regulations; logistical support, coordinating the storage, handling, and distribution of cargo on the vessel and at the port, and arranging land transport of goods by truck to and from the port; regulatory compliance, ensuring the vessel meets local, national, and international regulations, including maritime safety and environmental laws; 24/7 support to ensure the smooth operation of vessel activities; and provisioning, ensuring the vessel is stocked with fresh food, water, and supplies for the crew, from basic food items to specialty goods.
