OMAAT Engineering Services Ltd was incorporated to specialize in the provision of navigation, communication, fire and gas detection and integration solutions on board various vessels in West Africa and the Gulf of Guinea. Since inception, our company has laid emphasis on developing a sound technological base, and in view of this, significant resources have been spent on training staff and creating technical partnerships with various high-technology companies all over the world. This has led to agency, distributorship and technical support services. Our range of services and products includes, but is not limited to, procurement, integration/installation, commissioning, retrofitting and servicing of fire and gas detection systems (Autronica, Consilium, Tyco etc.), gas sampling systems, gyro compasses, radars, ARPA and autopilots, electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS) and echo sounders, voyage data recorders (VDR) and automatic identification systems (AIS), integrated bridge solutions (IBS) and ship security alert systems (SSAS), vessel tracking systems and long-range thermal cameras, GMDSS and VHF/HF/MF radios, EPIRBs, satellite communications (Inmarsat C, Sailor FleetBroadband 200/250), shore-based GMDSS maintenance services, long-range identification and tracking (LRIT), and automation and control systems/ship electrics. We also offer training of ships' personnel, retrofitting of ballast water treatment systems, radar video surveillance solutions and calibration services (ODME, gas detectors, UTI tapes etc.). We not only provide these systems but also support existing installations. We have highly skilled engineers who specialize in the installation, commissioning and post-installation support of these systems.
