Penzance Dry Dock

Established in 1834, Penzance Dry Dock is strategically located at the UK's south-western tip. It is fully equipped for marine engineering, with an experienced team and expert contractors on hand. Marine facilities: dry dock 75 m x 12 m, wet berth 106 m, drying-out berth 92 m and indoor workshop 50 m x 42 m. Engineering facilities: fitters' workshop 22 m x 20 m; undercover welding, fabrication and sheet metal workshop; electrical workshop; sawmill and joiners' workshop; upholstery workshop; fuel injection workshop; blacksmiths' workshop; clean room workshop (dedicated to engine rebuilds and hydraulic repairs); profiling facility for 8 m x 3 m sheets up to 150 mm thick (oxy-propane and plasma); UHP and painting facility; large secure store facility; and portable welding equipment (TIG, MIG, MMA). General: portable cutting and gouging equipment (gas, plasma and carbon arc), forklifts and cranes.
