Quantilab Ltd

Our team of TIC/IFIA certified inspectors measure, examine, test/gauge, validate and certify characteristics of a product (raw materials and/or finished goods). Results obtained are compared with specific/regulatory requirements in order to establish whether conformity is achieved for each characteristic. QuantiLAB offers tailored solutions and customisable checklists as third-party product inspection for some of the world’s largest apparel brands and retailers, to comply with buyers’ and country-specific requirements and international standards at each stage of their supply chain in a timely manner and to help mitigate the risk of substandard products. QuantiLAB’s inspection services promote verification and compliance of commodities, namely sugar, fishmeal and fish oil, ethanol, flour and rice, amongst others. Commodities are inspected prior to shipment, mainly at the supplier’s premises, and prior to unloading at destination, to safeguard that a commodity strictly conforms to the agreed specifications. Our inspectors carry out surveys and inspections, quantity calculation of fuel in shore tanks and ship’s tanks, checking of pipelines and sealing before pumping of fuel, and sampling of fuel for testing, and issue quantity and quality certificates. We also provide certificates for customs offices. QuantiLAB’s inspectors also supervise the pumping of cargo from ship’s tanks to shore tanks (and vice versa), issuing a letter of protest to the Master of the vessel and concerned parties if required due to any shortage of cargo. Our inspection services include supervision of loading and unloading, measurement and calculation of quantity in ship tanks and shore tanks, bunker surveys, visual inspection of ship tanks, pumps and pipelines for cleanliness, ship tank suitability surveys, sampling of cargo according to instructions, loss, damage and contamination surveys, and loss investigation.
