S.C. Șantierul Naval 2 Mai S.A. Mangalia carries out the following production activities: cutting of sheet metal and any type of consumable parts on the SAPHIRE BL2 plasma and oxy-gas cutting machine (3000 x 12000), with a 3D bevelling head and HPR 260 XD cutting equipment, whose running track can be extended from 12000 mm to 24000 mm; metal fabrication; locksmith work; fabrication of flanges, manholes, piping and vertical ladders; machining; and ship hull construction. S.C. Șantierul Naval 2 Mai S.A. Mangalia also supplies consumable materials specific to shipbuilding and beyond. These activities mainly serve the joint venture Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries S.A., as well as other businesses in the area. S.C. Șantierul Naval 2 Mai S.A. Mangalia has a dynamic team focused on developing its existing production activities, with the capacity to provide and support sustainable solutions for new production activities, and is interested in promoting new collaborations.
