S.P. Satria Logistics Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sabah Port Sdn. Bhd., was established on 25 January 2006 as the first and only formal bunkering company in Sabah. Apart from being the sole bunker fuel and marine lubricants supplier at all ports, SPSL also provides services such as fresh water supply and waste oil and garbage collection from ships that call at the ports. Heavy lifting and shuttling of cargoes within the port are also provided at Kota Kinabalu port. SPSL is also involved in downstream oil and gas activities through its storage and distribution depots in Sapangar Bay and Lahad Datu. Serviced ports: Kota Kinabalu, Sepangar Bay, Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau.
