Scamp, Ship Fuel Conservation & Underwater Services

Scamp saves you time and money! For over 50 years, we’ve delivered cost-effective solutions to the shipping industry, targeted at saving bunker fuel and optimizing the operating performance of vessels. Hull fouling and propeller surface roughness impact the speeds vessels can achieve, diminishing overall performance by as much as 4% and causing fuel consumption to increase by up to 30%. Our flexible hull cleaning and propeller maintenance plans tackle vessel performance head-on. By coordinating with your scheduled port calls, we minimise loss of operational time, and our expert teams ensure your vessels operate to full potential by reducing fuel burn and engine stress. Our size and structure mean we’re ideally placed to tackle the most complex projects, and with an extensive network of industry associates, we’re committed to providing the best service possible. Our services include ecological hull cleaning, propeller polishing, inspections and surveys, and underwater repairs.
