Old ship scrapping for recycling is the core business of our company and we specialise in it. Nusaiba Shipping Lines has also long been involved in the shipping business, including ship charter and the sale & purchase of working vessels. We always buy old ships for scrapping/demolition directly from international ship owners (occasionally through international ship brokers) for our own ship breaking yard and mostly for other ship breaking companies as well, and as a broker we mediate in the purchase and sale of ships. We provide a full range of port agency services at competitive agency fees while maintaining high service standards, including in-transit calls (bunkering, water supply, clearing and forwarding of spares, sick crew attendance, attending to armed/unarmed security personnel), loading/unloading operations, sea and project freight forwarding, attending to dry docking, repairs and underwater survey/hull cleaning, crew change (immigration formalities, hotel accommodation, air tickets and transfers), dry and frozen storage and warehousing, ship chandling, crew health services, marine equipment supply, and ship electronics and spare parts supply. We also have a clearing and forwarding department to assist owners/managers with logistics.
