SMG

Smart Maritime Group (SMG) is a major Ukrainian shipbuilding holding and one of the largest shipbuilders in Europe. The Group currently directly owns the 2 largest Ukrainian shipyards – Chernomorsky (ChSY) and Kherson (KSY). With the shipyards located within 70 km of each other, we can offer flexible construction terms, operational transparency, the highest quality and large expertise in shipbuilding. The production program is focused on the building of multipurpose vessels, tankers, offshore vessels, tugs and other types of vessels, as well as hull building and construction of offshore structures. The yards have the production capacity to perform the full cycle of shipbuilding works, from steel cutting and bending to mounting of the propulsion complex, outfitting works and manufacturing of complicated marine systems. Turnkey completion of the vessels is carried out with the involvement of local and foreign companies for electrical installation, insulation, accommodation and HVAC works. In parallel with shipbuilding, the Group deals with ship repair and conversion.
