Sodré Marine Supply is a food, ship supply and services company established in São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, with more than five years of experience rendering excellent services to clients such as the Brazilian Navy, Brazilian Army, Brazilian Air Force, Internacional Marítima, the Federal University, GAC, Ambrosio Shipping, Saam Towage and Camorim Serviços Marítimos, towage companies of the port area (Itaqui, Ponta da Madeira (VALE) and Alumar), among others. Sodré Marine Supply started its activities in 2015 as a food distribution company, initially with small contracts to supply ready-to-eat food. At that time, the company was called Sodré Foods. Some time later, there was an opportunity to also start working in the bakery business. A few years later, Sodré Foods started operating in the larger distribution business for organizations of great relevance in Brazil, and it became Sodré Distribuição. Among the major organizations on the company's client list were the Brazilian Armed Forces (Navy, Army and Air Force) and the Federal University of Maranhão. In 2018, the first opportunity to operate in the port area arose, serving Internacional Marítima, nationally known for its port operations; with this contract, Sodré Distribuição started to supply provisions for about thirty vessels. Nowadays, in order to be even more prepared for international clients, the company's name has been changed to Sodré Marine Supply.
