Terminal Pacifico Sur

Valparaíso is located on the Chilean central coast, at coordinates 33°01'33'' south latitude and 71°38'22'' west longitude. It is located 110 kilometers northwest of Santiago, the country's capital. This area is a strategic point in commercial distribution, since the central area of Chile concentrates more than 50% of the population and national economic activity. Our facilities have world-class technology, which allows us to offer an excellent service to our clients. Quay front: a total of 1,006 meters of berthing front, of which the main front extends for 740 meters with a maximum draft of 14.1 meters, so two Post-Panamax vessels can berth simultaneously. The secondary quay front has an extension of 266 meters with a maximum draft of 9.4 meters. A total of 9 STS cranes, among which are some of the largest on the west coast of South America, with an outreach of 62 meters (22 rows) and a lifting capacity of 65 tons under spreader. The terminal's yard is equipped with reach stackers, empty handlers and RTG yard cranes. Capacity to store refrigerated cargo on 30 reefer racks, which leads to 3,000 reefer connections permanently monitored. Access points control the input flow of cargo through the optical character recognition (OCR) system, which reads the number of each container and the ISO code, verifies status and carries out the traceability of the cargo.
