Hoist your vessel out for repairs, maintenance and refit projects at Trafalgar Shipyard. Our Pearlson shiplift is set up to lift both commercial vessels and superyachts. This mechanical dry dock can safely hoist out most large commercial vessels. Our Syncrolift is fully refurbished; certified to lift 877 tonnes, it easily lifts vessels up to 60 meters in length overall. With plenty of hard standing available, multiple refit projects can take place. There are many benefits to bringing your refit project here: full shipyard facilities, flexible working, use of your own independent contractors, easy access and fast docking. Base your project here and you have access to workshops, offices and storage facilities, booked as you require them for your team. We are situated in the vibrant waters of Portsmouth Harbour, a short drive from the M27 motorway. Retaining Portsmouth's maritime heritage, the shipyard is based on the former Vosper Thornycroft site at Trafalgar Wharf, where Royal Navy vessels have been maintained for many years, so we are proud to be continuing a long heritage of ship work and marine employment within Portsmouth Harbour. With the Royal Naval Dockyard based in Portsmouth Harbour too, there is a fully secured and monitored approach, which continues beyond the dockyard to our shipyard channel.
