In the year 2002, TVS MARINE was started as a proprietary concern by a determined team member for ship repair activities, possessing 35 years of marine experience in ship repairs, ship building and ship conversion in different execution & managerial roles with technical and commercial background, offshore FPSO and FSO repairs, and complete new building of a world class semi sub FPS as a Senior Hull Construction Manager and as Offshore Integration and Completion Lead till first oil delivery with renowned oil & gas global leader SHELL in Malaysia. Our company steadily progressed and became a leader in all fields connected with marine vessels such as cargo carriers, dredgers, oil & gas platforms and oil tankers. His experience on various vessels inspired him to expand his activities into new construction and conversion of ship building, FPSO and semi sub FPS too. TVSM – as TVS MARINE is popularly known in shipping circles – is one of the largest repair services providers for the shipping industry not only in Chennai, its home base, but also all along the coast lines of India and abroad. Since its inception in 2002, TVS MARINE has its own workshop in Singapore, at the hub of all marine industry, for stocking and trading. Very soon a ship repair organization is going to be established in Bahrain. All these activities have brought laurels to the industry. Our team was established by Mr. V. Santhanam, ship repair & offshore professional and proprietor of TVS MARINE, supported by qualified, experienced marine chief engineers and marine professionals.
