UK Marine

UK Marine is an independent marine, offshore and engineering survey and consultancy organisation, founded in 1997 by an experienced team of master mariners, marine engineers and naval architects who bring together a wealth of seagoing as well as design, classification, surveying and consultancy experience. We provide professionally competent and highly technical marine surveys, inspections and consultancy services. Our technical expertise and hands-on experience make us India's preferred maritime consultancy, focusing on all aspects of transportation and construction in the marine environment and on the accidents and disputes that sometimes arise. Surveys: on/off-hire bunker quantity surveys, draft surveys, condition surveys, cargo surveys including loading and unloading supervision, tally supervision and damage surveys. Technical: magnetic compass and barometer calibration and certification, radio surveys, VDR, navigation and communication equipment services and certification, and calibration of gas detectors. LSA, FFA and cargo gear: Indian Cargo Gear Booklet, load tests of cranes, grabs, accommodation and pilot ladders, lifeboat and life raft servicing and certification as per IMO regulations (authorized by various makers), and fire-fighting equipment inspection and certification (approved by various classification societies). Supply: radio and navigation equipment and machinery spares. Audits: safety audits (internal ISM/ISPS/MLC audits), and class and statutory certification for Panama-flagged ships, including renewal of all class safety certificates and ballast water management (BWMC).
