Vigamar was founded in 1987 by Dr. Vittorio Italo Gangeri, who with great courage decided to separate his activity from his brother's and set up on his own. Dr. Gangeri had carried out the activity of customs and maritime agent since 1968. After his untimely death in 2007, his children, Fabrizio and Valeria Gangeri, incorporated the customs and maritime agent activities into their company Faber Travel Sas, alongside its travel and tourism agency, founded in 2000 as a diversification of the family's historical activity. Vigamar has an important position in the market for sea shipments of some important Reggio industries, such as chemicals and essences.
