Wavetec inspection and training services

Wavetec Inspection & Training Services (WITS) is a Namibian technical training centre and provider of other services, established in August 2015. We intend to strengthen the technical training market in Namibia by providing quality non-destructive training and related services. What we do: non-destructive testing services to various industries including mining, chemical, construction, manufacturing and maritime; Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) services (SANS 347 & PER); statutory inspections (internal/external inspections, pressure testing); American Petroleum Institute (API 653) services; consultation on non-destructive evaluation; welder qualifications and procedure qualification records; and IPE/API inspection services. We aim to be a business partner of choice for Namibian and African industries as the preferred supplier of non-destructive training and services. WITS operates in accordance with the ISO 9000 quality standard, and our training curriculum is compliant with SNT-TC-1A. Our customers include mining, marine, engineering and construction companies in Namibia, such as Swakop Uranium, China Harbour Engineering Company, Dormac Marine and Engineering, ABB Namibia and B2 Gold Namibia. Since 2015 we have been active in the mining, marine and industrial sectors in Namibia. All our personnel, local and international, have extensive experience in oil and gas, petrochemicals and mining and have worked globally.
