Yavuzvarnali Shipping and Trading Co. was founded by Cem Yavuzvarnali and Ugur Yavuzvarnali in 2007, with main activities in coal cargo transportation and project cargo transportation. In 2008, the company added grain, cement and steel cargoes to its scope. During the 2008 crisis, despite global contraction, the company extended its activities, having foreseen the crisis beforehand. Since then the company has been active in chartering from minibulk up to ultramax/panamax size. As coal is the company's core business, it also provides services in the sale of coal, especially steam coal and anthracite, to all destinations.
