ZADUR Shipping is a specialist dry bulk ships agency company within the ZADUR (Pty) Ltd group of companies, incorporated and registered in 2013 under the South African Companies Act. ZADUR Shipping operates in Durban and Richards Bay ports. The founders of the company have a combined experience of more than 25 years in the shipping industry, ranging from ships agency to port operations as well as clearing and forwarding. As charterers' agent we protect the interests of the vessel's charterer and ensure efficient cargo operations for cargo owners at all times. As port agents we protect the interests of the vessel's disponent owners/operators and ensure efficient port operations at all times, including reporting of cargo status, port status and conditions, customs documentation, supervision of loading or discharge and attending to the vessel's daily requirements. As owners' agents we protect the interests of shipowners/operators by supervising the appointed charterers' agent; in addition, we attend to husbandry requirements and supply services such as bunker calls, dry docking (Durban only) and repairs, cash to master, crew changes, off port limits and all ship spares requirements. Our ships agency services include charterers'/cargo agency, port agency, owners' protective agency, vessel husbandry, off port limits (OPL), cash to master (CTM), crew changes, transportation and accommodation, ship spares coordination and bunker arrangements. Our port operations services include cargo management and inventory, cargo surveying, stockpile supervision and reporting, stevedoring, on-board vessel guarding/security and stowaway searches before the vessel sails. Our clearing and forwarding services include bulk cargo customs clearing.
